Colombia's PPI Pacts Accelerate Consolidation

Last month, the PPI Pacts in Colombia accelerated activities to define its governance structure, which will support the fulfillment of the territorial visions and goals defined by all the actors involved.

With a face-to-face meeting in each region (Magdalena, Cesar and Huila) and several other individual ones, the actors of the territories agreed on a governance that includes: an Executive Secretary, responsible for facilitating the implementation of the action plans and monitoring progress and compliance with the goals; three working groups dedicated to developing actions and activities in Production; Protection and Inclusion to achieve the goals defined in each of the pillars;   and a cross-cutting innovation working group that will support actions in the pillars with evidence, studies and good practices.

Governance meetings in each region are due to begin next month.

On May 10, the 6th Meeting of the Steering Committee of the AgroColombia Productive and Sustainable Initiative will be held in person, in Bogotá.
