Focus area covers 1,215,000 ha in the following districts: Bengkalis, Siak, Pelalawan, Indragiri Hulu and Kampar. This represents 25% of the total size of the districts.

Riau is a major producer of palm oil and paper. Despite government efforts, protected areas and forests are still vulnerable to exploitation by industries and smallholders. It is therefore essential for all parties to collaborate to ensure that production is sustainable. Earthworm plays a vital role in this effort by promoting responsible practices through collective action initiatives
